Questions
How many amps can a Li-ion pack give?
Each cell's rated current times the number in parallel. A 4S2P pack of 45 A 21700 cells can give about 90 A.
LiPo or Li-ion for long range?
Li-ion packs hold more energy per gram, so they fly longer at cruise. LiPo packs give much more current, so they suit hover and sport flying.
Can I fly with a pack over 100 Wh?
Yes, but airlines limit carrying packs over 100 Wh. The tool tells you when your pack goes over.
