Planes named after birds

LayerWings designs 3D-printable RC planes in Pakistan, for pilots who want to fly far and build without fuss.

How we design

Every plane starts as parametric CAD. From the same numbers we make the print files, the studio renders, the x-ray and bay views, the wiring diagram and the aerodynamic estimates, so everything you see matches what you print.

How we build

We keep the structure simple: printed shells, two carbon tubes per wing, plug-in wings on two joiners. No rib kits, no jigs, and parts that fit a normal 220 mm printer.

Why bird names

The Koonj (demoiselle crane) flies thousands of kilometres every year; the Chakor is Pakistan's national bird. Each plane carries the name of a bird that fits its job.
